EDWARD LISTWAN
1947 - 2015
Eddie Listwan, age 68, of Prince Albert, SK, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13, 2015. Eddie was born on his way to Prince Albert, SK on an airplane, February 5, 1947. He was known for his strong work ethic, working for Ruzkowski Construction for 48 years. For many years he was involved with the PA Exhibition, and more recently, the PBR annual event in Prince Albert. He is well known in his community as a good neighbor who named, bought and installed the sign for Sunshine Road East of PA. He was always doing whatever he could to provide for his children Sherry and Darryn. Family and friends were his number one priority. He always supported them through hockey, horse jumping and rodeo. He was a selfless and generous person, who was always looking to lend a hand to friends and family. Even during his last days, he always put his concern for others ahead of himself. His driving was known to all East of town since, if you got behind him on your way into work, you may have been angry with his slow driving as he was always checking on things in the community and city he loved. Eddie is survived by his daughter Sherry and husband Ron Ostrom who have three daughters Alexandra, Harper and Marlowe; his son Darryn and wife Michelle Listwan; his twin sister Evelyn Augustyn; Jan & Ron Compain, Donna & Borris Billay, Judy & Lou Aubin, Gorden & Brenda Listwan, George & Denise Listwan, Irene & Dwain Harmon, Bev & Brian Pratchler; many nieces and nephews; Godchild Ryan Billay; and best friend Colin Steele. He is reunited with his wife Joan Listwan, his parents Walter and Ann Listwan; his sister Linda Zabos; his brother in-law Walter Augustyn; his in-laws Louis and Mary (Kissel) Mardell; his sister-in-law Sophie Mardell and brother in law Danny Mardell. The family wishes to thank everyone who visited him, and special thanks to his sisters Evelyn and Donna who made sure someone was with him while he was home in PA. He was a devoted dad, husband, grandpa, son, brother and friend who will be dearly missed and forever loved and cherished. Celebration of Life will be held at Carlton Park Community Club, 3100 Dunn Drive, Saturday, July 25 from 12 pm to 5 pm. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Donald M. Moriarty, Funeral Director.
