Rose 'Lou' (Marusiak) Podgurski

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Lou, on July 21, 2015 at St. Peter's Hospital at the age of 87.
She was the beloved wife for 62 years of Ted Podgurski.
She is survived by her loving sisters Kay Dombroski of Hamilton and Anne MacNeil of Sydney, N.S
Predeceased by her siblings Joe, Mary Thomas, Johnny and Mike and her nephew Brian Marusiak.
She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews David and Peter Thomas, Anne-Lorraine Molloy, Tricia MacNeil, Lois (the late Dan) MacDonald, John (Freda) Marusiak and Patti (David) Gilkes and several grandnieces and nephews.
Special thank you to the nurses and Dr. Bev of 3E at St. Peter's Hospital for their exceptional love and care. Family will receive friends at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E., Hamilton on Friday, July 24 from 6-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, 305 East 37th St., on Saturday, July 25 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum.
In memory of Lou, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Peter's Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
