Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Mrs. Emmie Evely of Victoria aged 75 years. Predeceased by parents: William and Margaret Youden, brothers: Winston and John. She leaves to mourn her loving family, children: Brenda (Bill), Bonnie (Kevin), Boyd (Beverly) and Christopher (Allison), and their father: Joseph Evely, grandchildren: Kevin (Trisha), Kerri (Terrance), Shane (Danielle), Brad (Andrea), Brendan (Danielle), Mackenzie, Amber, Joseph, Frankie and Cael, great-grandchildren: Shayla and Jazmine, beloved family dog: Toby, special family member: Paul Bolt, brothers: George (Cecilia), Bill (Stella), David (Julie) and Vic, sisters: Frances (Victor), Blanche (Mike), Charlotte (Bill), Jean (Paul) and Manita (Peter) and a large circle of other relatives and friends. A celebration of Emmie's life will take place at the Victoria United Church, Victoria on Sunday, Aug 2, 2015 at 7 P.M. As per Mrs. Evely's wishes there will be no visitation and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy and remembrance, donations in her loving memory may be made to The Juvenile Diabetes Association or The Canadian Cancer Society.
