SUTHERLAND, LLOYD WEAVER
Mr. Lloyd Sutherland, 87, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. He was born on February 10, 1928 in Blissfield, NB. He was the son of the late Dora (Weaver) and Lyle Sutherland.
He is survived by his loving wife, Inez (Miner) Sutherland; his children, Brenda (Richard) Walker of Fredericton, NB, Darlene (Malcolm) O’Donnell of Dartmouth, NS, Brian (Heather) Sutherland of Fredericton, NB and Carolyn (Ralph) Hallihan of Renous, NB; grandchildren, Robbie Sutherland (Shelly), Jonathan Sutherland, Emily Snow (Rodney), Ryan Hallihan and Shawn Hallihan; great grandchildren, Tanner and Kristen Sutherland; six sisters, Jean Murray, Ida Colford, Eileen (Glen) Storey, Leona Gillespie, Olive Sutherland and Marion O’Donnell and one brother, Cliff Sutherland.
He was predeceased by four brothers, Frank, James, Vaughan and Lawrence Sutherland and one sister, Ruby Murray.
Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Doaktown, NB on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 2 pm with Father Gerry Laskey officiating. Interment will follow in St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Russell Hill.
Donations may be made to the Anglican Parish of Ludlow and Blissfield, St. Andrew's Anglican Cemetery, the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
