We regret to announce the passing of our brother Danny. He was 76 years. He died on July 13, 2015 in the University of Calgary Hospital of an aggressive form of leukemia.
He was the son of late Stephen Jim and Mary MacNeil and a brother of the late Stephen Osmond 'Ossie'.
He is survived by his sisters, Sandra (Nat), Gen (Rado) and nieces & nephews.
Danny left Iona at a young age and worked at different jobs. Before his retirement, he worked as a rail aliment operator for the railroad. At the time of his death he lived in Alberta Beach.
He will be missed by his family, his neighbours & his best friend, Meaghan MacDonald.
Funeral mass will take place at St. Columba Parish Church in Iona on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. followed by burial. Refreshments will be served at Sandra & Nat’s house.
