1948 - 2014
Donald J. Maranda, 66, of West Palm Beach, FL passed away peacefully at the St Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach on July 17, 2014 after a brief illness. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Gerard and the late Rose (Brun) Maranda.

He was a construction superintendent by trade and he loved to play music in his free time.

He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Ariana Maranda of Clarksville, TN, his sisters; Dianne Sullivan (Leo) of Davenport, Iowa, Doris Coraccio (Guy) of Wesford, MA, Claudette Goguen (Odilon) of Dieppe and Jeannette Maranda of Saint-Antoine, his brothers; Leon (late Yvette) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, Armand (Lucille) of Henderson, Nevada and John-Paul (Ruth) of Beverly, MA.

Donald was predeceased by five sisters; Corinne, Marie, Clara, Maria, Aline and one brother, Yvon.

Visitations will be held at the Saint-Pierre RC Church Slumber Room in Cocagne on Tuesday August 18, 2015 form 2 to 4pm. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Pierre Church on Tuesday August 18, 2015 at 4:00pm.

In Donald’s memory a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
