BLEAKNEY, AUSTIN
Austin J. Bleakney, 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Oceanview Continuing Care Centre, Eastern Passage, NS.
Austin was a long-time employee of Lafarge Canada Inc and after his retirement he enjoyed charitable work for many organizations in Nova Scotia.
An amazing, caring and supportive father and grandfather to his daughters Stephanie, Jennifer (Doug), and Cathleen; his sons Greg (Yvette), David, and Ian; his Grandchildren, Julia (Eric), Austin, and Zachary.
He was predeceased by his wife, Jane Holmes.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Marie Leppard for the years of love, care and support of Austin.
Funeral Service will be held in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth, NS B2Y 1J5 on Friday, August 21, 2015, at 2:00pm.
