Ada Simon, age 100, passed away peacefully on Aug. 20, 2015, surrounded by family.
Born in Saint John, N.B. in 1915, Ada was the daughter of the late Louis and Bessie Goldberg. Ada was a very kind, loving and generous person who always thought of others before herself. She was a wonderful Bobie to Jen and Ashley.
Ada was predeceased by her husband, Philip Simon; brothers, Mike and Solly Goldberg.
Ada is survived by her sister, Helene Seigel, Ottawa; daughter, Sharon, Toronto; son, Stanley, Toronto and Stephen (Patsy), Hammonds Plains; grandchildren, Jennifer and Ashley Simon, both of Halifax. Special thanks to the staff of Melville Lodge for their kindness and care.
Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, Aug. 23rd at 2 p.m. at the Glace Bay Jewish Cemetery.
