It is with great sadness that the family of Evelyn Jenkins announces her passing at University Hospital, London, ON, on August 25, 2015.
Evelyn will be forever remembered by her several sisters and brothers in P.E.I., Ontario and Calgary - Hazel Raynor, Cecil (Marion), Bennett (Gail), Bea Humphrey (Andrew), Doris Bowen (the late Donald), Alice White (the late Vincent), Pauline Garnhum and the late Preston (Eileen), and lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews in those areas.
Evelyn was born in Prince Edward Island in 1928. She received her nursing degree there in 1951 practising her vocation for 40 years in Ontario. She retired from University Hospital in 1992.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted in London, Ontario. Interment at a later date in P.E.I. Memorial contributions to The Arthritis Society or the charity of your choice.
