BERTHE, LOUIS-PHILIPPE
1923 – 2015
Louis-Philippe Berthe "Barbier Berthe" 91, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Saturday, August 29, 2015. He was married to Généva (LeBlanc) Berthe. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late François and the late Henriette (LeBlanc) Berthe.
Louis was a barber by trade and worked at the Bouctouche Liquor Store for several years until his retirement.
Louis-Philippe will be sadly missed by his wife Généva, his three children; Anne-Marie Robichaud (Raymond) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Gloria Berthe-Baccouche (Nasser) of Moncton and René (Claudette) of Cocagne and seven grandchildren; Denis, Sylvie, Karim, Walid, Mélika, Sophie and Luc. He also leaves to mourn one sister; Roséline Chenard of Moncton as well as several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by three sisters; Alice, Amérélyste and Yolande, three brothers; Gérard, Alphée and Lionel.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de L’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will follow at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Church, Bouctouche at 4 pm Wednesday. Interment will take place in the Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
In Louis-Philippe's memory donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT Foundation.
