TREMEA, Blanche Mary – 96, Nakile Home for Special Care, Argyle, formerly of Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in the home. Born April 28, 1919 in East Boston, Mass., she was a daughter of the late Camille and Evelina (Melanson) Boudreau. After marrying her husband Larry, they moved to his home state of Utah and then to Boston, where she worked in retail sales. In 1970 they returned to Yarmouth where they spent the rest of their lives, having spent many winters in Florida. She had a passion for animals, was a talented seamstress and had a very strong Catholic faith. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Brenda (Neil) Saulnier, Michael Jacquard, Larry Amirault, Ken Amirault, Theresa Tracia, James Boudreau and Nancy Forbes. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Larry Tremea; brothers, Edward in childhood and Harold Boudreau; sisters, Mildred Romaine, Marjorie Babin and Kathleen Jacquard, as well as by a nephew, Bruce Romaine. Visitation took place from 7-9 Thursday evening with prayers at 8 p.m., both at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. The funeral mass was held at 11 a.m., Friday, September 4 from Saint Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father Henry Smolenaars officiated. Interment followed in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Yarmouth SPCA or to a charity of choice.
