LeBLANC, OSCAR
Oscar LeBlanc of Memramcook passed away at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Friday, September 18, 2015 at the age of 73 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Belliveau Village on December 4, 1941, he was the son of the late Zoel LeBlanc and the late Marie Belliveau.
He worked at CN and then as a custodian at District 1 until his retirement and was a member of the Golden Age Club of Pre-D’en-Haut.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Aline LeBlanc; three sons, Michael (Grace) LeBlanc of Winthrop, MA, Lenny (Marise) LeBlanc of Belliveau Village and Stephen LeBlanc of Moncton; three grandchildren, Mireille, Brian and Chris; one great-grandchild, Breanna; three sisters, Rose-Marie (Guy) Savoie of Dieppe, Therese (Don) Woodward of Moncton and Simonne (Leon) Cormier of Belliveau Village; one brother, Paul LeBlanc of Moncton and by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother Charles.
There will be no visitation and the funeral mass will be held at the Notre Dame de l’Annonciation church in Pre-D’en-Haut on Tuesday, September 22 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook www.dupuisfuneralhome.ca
