It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rodney Willis Young announce his passing at St. Clare's Hospital in St. John's on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the age of 53 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and precious memories his brothers: Cyril Power, Corner Brook, Edward Young (Marilyn), Lewisporte, and Richard Young (Bev), Ontario; sisters: Marie Temple (Robert), Corner Brook and Agnes George (John), with whom he resided, St. John's; sister-in-law Brenda Power, Corner Brook, his best buddy Troy Power, St. John's, and his Personal Care Attendant Celita Tucker. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Alfred and Loretta Young and his brother Kevin Power. A special thank you to the ACT Team in St. John's for Rodney's care. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, September 28, 2015 between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with cremation following. The Service of Remembrance will take place at Country Haven Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.
