Aurélie Cormier, 94, of Saint-Antoine passed away peacefully at the Dr Georges L Dumont UHC, Moncton on Sunday October 4, 2015. She was married to the late Alexandre (Alex) Cormier. Born in Saint-Paul, she was the daughter of the late Paul and the late Elizabeth (Jaillet) Geneau.
Aurélie was the sacristan for the Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church for numerous years.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter; Alcida LeBlanc (Robert) of Notre-Dame, her ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one sister Adéline Nowlan of Moncton, and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by two sons; Gerald and Noel, two sisters; Hélène and Béatrice and five brothers; Irènée, Charles, Henry, Aldéric and Archie.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine L’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Antoine Church at 7:00 pm with interment in the Saint-Paul Parish cemetery.
In memory of Aurélie donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
