It is with broken hearts We the family regret to announce the passing of Beverly Kennedy, 71, of Hillside Road, Albert Bridge at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015. Bev retired from MT&T after 32 years of service.
Born in St. John's, N.L., Bev is the daughter of the late John and Mabel (Keeping) Nash.
Bev is survived by Ron, her husband of 51 years whom she loved with all of her heart and who became his biker partner. Bev is also survived by her son Greg and daughter-in-law Tracey who will miss their mom more than words can ever say. Also survived by her brother Melvin and sister-in-law Carla, sister Maxine and brother-in-law Roger, three brothers and sisters-in law Ken and Shirley, John and Joanne, David and Sharon and many many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by Fran and Clarence Kennedy her mother and father-in-law.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home Chapel , 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating. Interment will take place with family and close friends attending.
