Passed peacefully away on November 5 at St. Clare's Hospital following a short battle with cancer, Frank Kane of Renews, age 75. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Maggie Kane, brothers Ronnie and Charlie, nephew Patrick Kane, and brother-in-law Pat Hamilton, as well as parents-in-law Thomas and Hannah Making and brother-in-law Ken Barnable. Leaving to mourn with loving memories: his wife of 52 years, Margaret (née Making), daughter Pam and son-in-law Andy Sullivan, son Keith and daughter-in-law Lana, grandchildren Shane and Claire Sullivan, and Rachel, Maggie and Bridget Kane. Frank will also be greatly missed by his siblings: Evelyn Hamilton, Mary (Eric) Dunne, Rosalie (Leo) Stead, Teresa (Adolf) Mann, Albert (Jocelyn), Eugene (Beverly), Josephine (Jerry) Johnson; Paul (Jackie), Diane (Laurie) Sullivan; Gerard (Heather), and sister-in-law Sharon Kane. Also leaving his brothers and sisters-in-law: Tom (Ann) and Harry (Eleanor) Making, Rosalind (Eugene) Gibbons, and Cynthia Barnable, and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Resting at Fahey's Funeral Home in Fermeuse with visiting hours on Friday, November 6 from 2-9 p.m., and Saturday, November 7 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 8 at 2 pm at Holy Apostles Church, Renews. Burial to follow in Holy Apostles Cemetery, Renews. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in Frank's memory to a charity of one's choice.
