Passed peacefully away at the Lions Manor, Placentia on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Mr. Griffin was 80 years old. He leaves to mourn his loving family, son Paul (Mary Anne) Griffin, daughter Paula (Terry) Clarke, grandsons Stephen and Ryan, granddaughters Emily and Jillian. Predeceased by wife Dolly Griffin, parents John and Ethel Griffin, brother Roy (Belle), sisters Emma (William) Clarke, Violet (Matthew) Clarke, Lilla (Allan) Smith and Susie (Issac) Clarke. The Funeral Service will be held 2 P.M. on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from St. Peter's Anglican Church & Cemetery, Upper Island Cove. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE'S FUNERAL HOME, CRANES ROAD, UPPER ISLAND COVE, on Thursday: 7-9 P.M., Friday 2-5 P.M. and 7-9 P.M.
