We, the family of Alma Davison, 78, regret to announce her passing on Nov. 8, 2015 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, Alma dedicated her life to raising her children and being caring and compassionate to family and friends.
She was the daughter of the late Peter and Viola (Axworthy) Roston of Sydney.
Left to mourn her passing are her sons, Billy, Bob (Shona Thompson), Gord (Corinne Grant-Evely) and her daughter, Pamela Davison; also grandchildren, Lyndsey Thompson, Dylan Evely, Tyler Evely, Mitchell Evely, Braydon Evely, Kalan Evely and Peter Davison. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Nash.
Besides her parents, Alma was predeceased by her husband, Peter Davison; sisters, Mary, Jeannette, Rose, Stella, Martina, Viola and Betty; brothers, Peter, Billy, and Arno.
Visitation for Alma will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015 from 12-1 p.m. at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
