Date de naissance : 7 août 1924

Lieu de décès : Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada
Date de décès : 10 novembre 2015

Dorothy passed away at Mont St. Joseph Care Home with her loved ones around her on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. She is survived by her son Alden (Jyl) Paul; her daughter Linda Clarke; her grandchildren Colin (Jennifer) Paul, Michelle (David) Potts, Shari (Jerry Altstadt) Paul, Shauna (Trevor) Muzechka; her seven great-grandchildren, Ty, Marisa, Olivia, Jaycee, Dexter, Jackson and Eastyn; her step-daughter from her second marriage Patricia (Ken) Shields. Dorothy was predeceased by her two husbands; her parents Rosa and Sam Jones; her brother Johnny Jones; her sisters Myrtle, Margaret, Marvella and most recently Sister Rosa Jones of the Sisters of Charity, as well as many cherished in-laws that she greatly missed. Dorothy was born on August 7, 1924 and raised in McLennan AB, and spent her early twenties in Edmonton working at the Land Titles Office. It was there she met her first husband, Robert Paul. He worked for the CN and was transferred to Prince Albert and asked his bride to marry him and move to Prince Albert which she did. They were married till his death in 1960. Dorothy and her children lived in Prince Albert, with Dorothy working at the CIBC, till she met and married Charles Clarke in April of 1965 and then moved out to Smeaton, SK. In 1993, Dorothy and Charlie moved back into Prince Albert, till his death in 2010. Dorothy loved many things… playing cards (crib especially), having tea, watching curling, reading books (by the dozen) and visiting friends. But mostly she loved her family deeply. They were the light in her life. “Hello Sweetheart and How are you?” was how Dorothy greeted her kids and grandkids, whether in person or by phone. And when we left it was never “bye” but “bye for now”. We will greatly miss our Sweetheart…and know that it is just “bye for now”. The interment will take place at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, November 14 from the Garden of Sermon on the Mount, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14 from Calvary United Church, 114 – 25 Street East. Pastor Nora Vedress will officiate. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Mont St. Joseph Foundation. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Don M. Moriarty, Funeral Director
