Henry Machmer was born on December 13, 1924 and passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the age of 90 years and 11 months. He farmed at Spring Valley until 1977 when he semi-retired and moved to Balgonie. In 2000, Henry retired in Regina. He enjoyed traveling, hunting and fishing and many hobbies. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Thelma; sisters, Isabel (Mickey) Mochoruk and Helen Mack; in-laws Helen Machmer, Frank Hildebrand, Reinhold (Kathy) Ellen, Bernice, Marlene Weinheimer and many nieces and nephews who he spent many happy hours and holidays with. Predeceased by his parents, Adam and Margaret Machmer; brothers, Peter and Jacob (Irma); sisters, Katie (Philip) Brown, Charlotte (Roy) Hemphill and Louise Hildebrand; in-laws, Victor Mack, Water, George, Edward and William Weinheimer, and Alma (Harry) Mapstone.
