WESTVILLE - Adele Marie Allen, 63, Westville, formerly of Blue Mountain, passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her family.
Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late Albert Arlo “Kenny” and Desiree Marie Silvaine “Mary” (Ladriere) Patton.
Prior to retirement, she was office manager with S. Allen & Sons Ltd., New Glasgow and previously was employed with WearWell Garments, Stellarton. Adele enjoyed needlepoint, reading, knitting and doing puzzles. She was a loving lady who cared dearly for her family and friends.
Surviving are her daughter, Nicole (Joey), Stellarton; sons, Paul (Sherry), Winnipeg, Man.; Dennis, Westville; Corie (Wanda), Dartmouth; former husband, Stephen, McLellans Brook; grandchildren, Shaila, Kiara, Brianna, Ethan and Jayden; brothers, Kenny (Vivian), Linacy; Robert “Bob” (Pauline), Stellarton; Roy (Lorraine), New Glasgow; Jule, New Glasgow; Thomas, Fort Saskatchewan, Alta.; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Ellamaude in infancy and Joyce; brother, Earl in infancy; sister-in-law, Judy.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating.
Private interment will be in Lorne Street Cemetery, New Glasgow.
