TRENTON - John Donald Greenlaw, age 85, of Trenton, passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital.
Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Florence (Maine) Greenlaw.
John worked on cargo ships on the Great Lakes.
He was a member of First United Baptist Church, New Glasgow.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Babin); son, John (Sarah), Saskatoon, Sask.; grandson, Simeon; brother, Bruce, St. Catharines, Ont.
He was predeceased by a brother, Lorne.
Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday in First United Baptist Church, with Rev. Dr. Gordon Sutherland officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Condolences may be sent by visiting: www.rhporter.ca
