RICHARD, YVONNE
1912 – 2015
Yvonne Richard, 103 of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at home on Monday, November 30, 2015. She was married to the late Joffre Richard (2007). Born on June 18, 1912 in Cocagne, she was the daughter of the late Jean and the late Anna (Surette) Richard.
Being married to the former fire chief, she devoted numerous hours to the Bouctouche Volunteer fire department.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter-in-law; Dorilla Richard of Bouctouche, two grandchildren; Andrée Beck (Adam) of Bouctouche and Jacques (Martine) of Saint-Antoine, two great grandchildren: Miguel and Patrice as well as several nephews and nieces. She also leaves to mourn her Home care worker Laurise Léger.
She was predeceased by a daughter Aurélie in infancy, one son Jean-Paul (Oct. 11, 2015), three sisters; Marie, Évelyne and Rosalie and one brother Jacques.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 1 to 2:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Church, Bouctouche on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 3:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Yvonne’s memory donations may be made to the Bouctouche Volunteer Fire Department.
