The death occurred at the Atlantic Baptist Home on December 13, 2015, of Helen Isabel MacNeill of Sherwood, and formerly of Mount Royal, age 94 years. Devoted wife of the late Raynall MacNeill. Helen was born in Haliburton on June 24, 1921, daughter of the late Charles and Alice Rix (nee Matthews). Cherished mother of Perley (deceased, 2003) and Dana (deceased, 2010). Special mother-in-law of Doris MacNeill, Charlottetown, and Linda MacNeill, Brampton, ON. Loving grandmother of Perlene Morrison (Brian), Mark MacNeill (Kelly) and Sara MacNeill (Alicia). Adoring great-grandmother of Owen, Will and Cassie Morrison, Macy and Stella MacNeill, and Aiden MacNeill. Helen is also survived by her half sisters, Margie MacWilliams and Barbara Sweet. Helen was predeceased by her siblings, Alvin Rix, Mae (Mary) Costain and Birch Rix, and by her half brothers, Myron Rix and Alton (Buzz) Rix. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel for visitation on Wednesday from 3-6 p.m. Funeral from Community Baptist Church on Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment to take place in the family plot in Springfield West Baptist Cemetery.
