MILLER, HONORA
With heavy hearts, the family of Honie Marie Miller, wife of Bill Miller announces her death, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Thursday, December 17, 2015. She was born in Sussex, NB, on September 7, 1948, a daughter of the late Henry and Clara (Bagley) Cummings.
Honie will be sadly missed by her husband of 49 years, Bill; daughters Lynn McLaughlin and her husband Joe of Norton, NB, Janice Miller Anderson and her husband Chad of Timmins, ON; son Joe Miller and his wife Stacey of Sussex, NB; grandchildren Colby, Kathyrn, Jane, Claire, Jonathan (Laisia), Ava; sisters Dodie Campbell, Adella (Claude) Griffiths, Mary Ellen (Brian) Snyder, Betty Whalen, Louise (Chris) Cummings; brothers William Cummings, Philip (Linda) Cummings, Jack Cummings; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her brothers Carroll Cummings and Maurice Cummings.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and nurses at the Saint John Regional Hospital Oncolory Dept, 5A South; Dr. Anthony Reiman and Dr. Wendy Smith.
She is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506) 839-2156, 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian burial, celebrated by Father Dan Bastarache will be held from Sacred Heart Church, Norton at 11:00 am on Monday, December 21, 2015. Interment will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Sacred Heart Church Building Fund or to the memorial of the donor's choice.
