Quietly on December 17, 2015 at the Kings County Memorial Hospital with family by his side the passing of Harry Nabuurs, age 86, of Montague. Devoted husband of 58 years to Mary (Verschuren) Nabuurs.
Born in Holland on September 2, 1929 he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary (Peters) Nabuurs. Harry is survived by his loving children Arny (Mary), Anthony (Anna), Theodore (Colleen), Frank (Martha), Mike (Cathy); cherished grandchildren, Steven, Erika, Bethany, Matthew, Mark, Tony, Charlotte, Karen, Paul, Cathy, Michelle, Patrick, Taya, Connor, Bruce, Trent, Katie, Lisa, Coby, Ethan and Megan; adored great-grandchildren, Rayna, Benjamin and Oliver; brother, Anthony; sister, Annie Vandenbroek. He was predeceased by brothers, Bernard, Bert, Peter, John and Martin; sister, Pauline Willems.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Sunday, December 20 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, December 21, 2015 from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Montague at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery.
