We, the family, announce the passing of Esther Geraldine ‘Jennie’ Arsenault on Dec. 17, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer and a short illness.
Jennie is survived, and will be missed by her son, Dwayne (Tammy Seymour); granddaughters, Vonica Flear & Sarah MacMullin; her loving mother, Stella Devoe; siblings, Walter (Andre), Paulette (Brian) MacLean, Sherman (Edna), Cathy (Dave) Compton, Melvin (Darlene), Elmer (Mary). Jennie will also be missed by special friends, Laverne, Ann-Marie, Eileen, Thelma, as well as her late husband Donnie’s family in P.E.I., many nieces, nephews and many computer/facebook friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald ‘Donnie’ Arsenault in 2002; her father, Albert Devoe; as well as three siblings in infancy.
Visitation for the late Jennie Arsenault will take place on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015 at Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, 10 Clyde Ave., Sydney Mines, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Tobin Road, following the service.
