FERGUSON, ETHEL
Surrounded by her children who adored her at the St. John Regional Hospital Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at the age of 83, passed away suddenly Ethel Ferguson, wife of the late Kent Ferguson. She lived in Tracadie. Born April 27th, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William and the late Edith Pinet Branch.
She is survived by her children: Frank (Karen), Glen, Sharon (John Mutch), Pauline (Martin Albert) and Edie and daughter-inlaw Marie-France; seven grandchildren: Chris, Stephanie, Lisa, Luc-André, Allie, Rebecca and Justin; nine great-grandchildren, Rylan, Elissa, Mireya, William Mathis, Noah, Brielle, Frankie Lou and Lily Anne; two sisters: Kathleen (the late Antonio Doiron) and Patsy (Clarence Savoie); two brothers-in-law, Antoine Gosselin and Rosario Morais; two sisters-in-law: Mildred Pinet and Anne-Marie Pinet, and her beloved dog, Cashew.
Three brothers: Raymond, Billy and Denis and five sisters: Mary, Edith, Jean, Betty and Winnie, have predeceased.
She was a nurse who was the symbol of compassion and dedication throughout her life and inspired her daughters and granddaughter to follow.
The family will receive friends from 7pm Tuesday, December 29, at Robichaud & Son Funeral Home, 3875 Main Street, in Tracadie. The funeral will be held at St John the Baptist church in Tracadie, Wednesday, December 30, at 2pm. Visiting hours Tuesday, December 29, from 7pm to 9pm. There will be no visitation the day of the funeral.
