It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Lynn Clark on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Angus and Sadie (Bagnell) Walker.
Lynn graduated from the Sydney City Hospital in 1954. She was employed for 29 years at the Cape Breton Hospital, as the psychiatric nursing supervisor.
Lynn enjoyed many family get-togethers, especially during the summers in Gabarus. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Lynn attended a bible study group on Tuesdays for many years.
Lynn is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Harold Clark; her daughters, Debbie Clark, Halifax, Beth Clark (Don Flemming), New Glasgow; her precious grandson, Logan Clark-Kenney; her two sisters, Alberta Ferguson and Muriel MacCormack; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Charlotte Rafuse.
A special thank you to the hospital and private nursing staff of 4B at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home Chapel, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. Reception to follow.
