After being apart for 35 years, Vernon Owen Curley, of Brookvale, age 64 years, was reunited with his beloved wife Elaine (nee Desjardins) Curley on January 5, 2016.
Loving father of Kim (Greg) Porter, Erin Curley (Aaron Gauthier), and loving grandfather of Sarah and Samantha Porter. Also survived by sisters Josephine Higgins, Bernice MacLeod, Helen Sammons, Rosemary (Frank) Furlong, Inez (Jack) Murphy, Marion (George) Marshall; brothers, Frank, Eugene, Damien, Bernard and Jimmy Curley; sister-in-law, Elly Tremblay; and brother-in-law, Fred Desjardins.
Predeceased by his parents, Mark and Rose Curley; sisters-in-law, Anne Marie and Gail Curley; and brothers-in-law, Alec Higgins, Manny MacLeod and Charlie Sammons.
Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, with visiting hours on Thursday, January 7, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass from St. Joseph's Church, Kelly's Cross, Friday at 10:30 a.m.
