Julius David Toews
April 4 1940 – January 14 2016
Jules was 75 years of age when he passed away with family by his side.
He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary Toews. He is survived by his brother Maurice (Laura) of Vernon, sisters Audrey McLeod of Calgary and Vi (Elmer) Pelto of Kimberly. Left to mourn are his wife Rose, son Darren (Tracie), daughter Sherri (Richard) Craig, grandchildren Chris Mahon, Jessica Toews, Skylar and Lucas Craig. Jules was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan and worked as a mechanic at numerous jobs. He could fix anything! He also spent some time hauling cattle. He and his family moved to Prince George in 1972 where he was hired as a machinist for B.C. Rail. He was there for 25 years until retirement in 1996. He was the ‘go to’ guy when something needed fixing. We will be respecting his wishes to be cremated and have no service.
