MAILLET, JEAN-GUY
1946 - 2016
Jean-Guy Maillet, 69, of Moncton and formerly of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Saturday January 16, 2016. He was married to Gilberte (Manuel) Maillet. Born in Renaud’s Mill, he was the son of the late Albert and the late Zélica (Robichaud) Maillet.
Jean-Guy was a warehouse manager for Dare Food for 28 years before his retirement.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Gilberte, his two children; Chantal Maillet of Moncton, Michel of Cornwall, ON and one step-daughter, Christiane LeBlanc (Claude) of Bouctouche, and one step-granddaughter, Christal. He also leaves to mourn one brother Alphonse (Donalda) of Oromocto, and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by three sisters; Fernande, Bernadette and Éveline.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine L’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine on Wednesday January 20, 2016 from 1 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Antoine Church on Wednesday January 20, 2016 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Jean-Guy’s memory donations may be made to the Friends on the Moncton Hospital.
