PENNEY, Richard (Rick)

Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. Richard (Rick) Penney of St. John's, age 58 years. Predeceased by his father Randal Penney, father-in-law Harold Butler and brother-in-law Jim Ryan. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Dianne (Butler); son Stephen in B.C.; son Christopher in St. John's; step-son Adam Bishop in Bahamas; step-daughter Robin Bishop in Hong Kong; his mother Gitta Penney; and mother-in-law Mildred Butler. Devoted grandfather to Zoe and her mother Jody in B.C. Brothers Randal in Kitchener, Bernard (Linda) in North Bay, Brian (Sharon) in St. John's, Catherine in St. John's, Sister Eileen RSM (St. Joseph's Convent) in St. John's, Kevin (Moira) in St. John's. Brothers and sisters-inlaw Gary (Judy) in Moncton; Cheryl (Carolyn) in Corner Brook; Derrick (Elizabeth) in Mississauga; and Wendy (Brent) in Corner Brook. Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd., on Sunday January 17, 7-9 p.m. and Monday, January 18, 2-4 p.m., 7-9 p.m., with Mass of Christian burial from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Tuesday, January 19, 9:30 a.m. With inurnment to take place at a later date.
