BLACQUIÈRE, ELVINA
(1923-2016)
Rogersville - At the Foyer Saint-Antoine, on Saturday January 16th, 2016, at the age of 92, passed away Elvina Blacquière, wife of late Albert Blacquière. She lived in St-Antoine but formally in Rogersville. Born February 9th, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Philias Goguen and of the late Mélanie Gallant.
She will be sadly missed by five daughters: Evelyne (Bernard Brien) of Ste-Marie, Irène (Marty Jeandron) of Acton, ON, Esta (Léo Bourque) of Cap-Pelé, Diane (Gérald Daigle) of Huntsville, ON and Ella (Adrien Maillet) of Acadieville; six sons : Ed of Rogersville, Raymond (Julia Beers) of Moncton, Roger (Ann Marie Lanteigne) of Calabogie, ON, Fernand of Acadieville, Claude of St. John, NB and Paul (Janine) of Rogersville; one brother, Léandre Goguen of St-Antoine; two sisters-in-law: Patricia (feu Emile) and Alma (late Jean-Baptiste), 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, as well as many nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by three sisters: Mélécé, Marie-Anne and Régina; three brothers: George, Jean-Baptiste and Émile.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the salon “La Colombe” 11325 route 126 of Rogersville, this Friday, January 22th, at 2pm. The funeral service will be held at St-François de Sales Roman Catholic Church in Rogersville, on Saturday, January 23th, at 10:30am. Visiting hours: Friday January 22th from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm and Saturday, January 23th from 9am until departure for the funeral.
