Passed peacefully away at home on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in the presence of her daughter Kay, Mary Boland, aged 95 years. Predeceased by her husband Patrick; parents Michael and Catherine Hickey and siblings Patrick Hickey, Daniel Hickey, David (Violet) Hickey, George (Nora) Hickey, Martin (Margaret) Hickey, Anastasia (David) Houston, Maria Hickey, Patrick (Diane) Hickey, Margaret Hickey and Eileen (John) Fardy. Mary leaves to mourn her children Martin (Peg), Mike (Bernadette), Pat (Mary) and Kay; as well as her 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday from 10 am - 12 pm, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 11 am on Friday, January 22, 2016 from Mary Queen of Peace Church. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Outer Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery Fund in Outer Cove.
