Anstey
Passed away peacefully at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, on Friday, January 15th, 2016, Edith “Minnie” Anstey, age 92. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Daisy Mutford, husband Leonard Anstey, son Eric, daughters Doreen and Evelyn, brothers Bert, George, and Fred. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her sons Gerald (Carol) of Grand Falls-Windsor, Ross (Bernice) of Twillingate, Aubrey (Claudine) of Gander, Kevin (Zee) of Medicine Hat, AB, son-in-law Patrick Shallow, grandchildren Denise Smith, Jennifer Clarke, Heather Anstey, Michael Shallow, Doug Shallow, Nancy Wiertz, Terry Anstey, Greg Anstey, Christopher Anstey, Sean Anstey, Justin Anstey, Leonard Anstey, Kevin Anstey, 19 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 19th at 2:00 P.M. from St. Martin's Anglican Cathedral, Gander. Interment followed at All Saints Cemetery.
