Patterson, Stephen
Stephen James Patterson passed away peacefully on Friday January 22, 2016 surrounded by his family at home. Born in 1962 he was the son of Mary (Hawks) Patterson and the late Albert Patterson. Throughout his life Stephen had many struggles with his health but had the strength to overcome them. After high school he went on to NBCC to take Accounting and went on to work as an accountant then as an independent dealer for Amsoil, he worked for many years for the Saint John Salvation Army. Stephen loved his wife and family and was always up for a good card game, scrabble, or game of chess, he loved to socialize with everyone. Stephen put many enjoyable miles on his Goldwing Motorcycle and snowmobile. Stephen will be missed by loving wife Judy Kinsella of Saint John, NB; daughters Shawna (Joe Beulieu) Patterson and Stephanie Patterson both of Saint John, NB; sister Nancy (Allan) Millican of Carsonville, NB; mother of the children Jennifer Patterson; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Stephen was predeceased by brother Walter.
The family would like to thank Doreen, Paul, Allen and Ron for the many acts of kindness shown to Stephen.
Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday January 25, 2016 at 12 noon from Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Interment will take place at a later date.
