It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear brother, uncle and friend at his home on Bell Island. Predeceased by his parents Mary (2008) and Steve (2002). Left to mourn are his siblings, Dianne (Bill Hutchings), Steve (Valerie), Joan Kent (Keith), Don (Barb), Colin (Bonnie), Tony, Paula Powell (Rodney) and Carol (Leo Fitzgerald), 13 nephews and nieces, 5 great-nephews and nieces and many friends, especially his "Shed" buddies who were exceptionally kind to him and lent a helping hand in so many ways. Terry had a passion for gardening and put great pride and effort into growing his beautiful flowers and vegetables, despite the chronic pain he endured. His greatest joy was sharing the fruits of his labour with his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Pendergast's Funeral Home, Bell Island on January 24 from 2-5 and 7-9. Mass of Christian burial to take place on January 25 at 11:00 at St. Michael's Church, Bell Island. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
