She was predeceased by her stepbrother, Bruce McQueen; mother-in-law, Ina Publicover and brother-in-law, Sandy Muise.
Surviving are her loving husband, Earl and children, Michael, Susan, Sharon, and Thomas; sons-in-law, Geoff and John; grandchildren, J.J., Kaitlynn, Corwin, Andrew, Tosha, Maverick and Sydney, all whom reside in Ontario; her fur baby, Chancie who found such a loving home with Earl and Marilyn.
She is also survived by her sisters, Ruth (Ewen) Ferguson, Prime Brook, Gail Muise, Halifax, Sharon Prince, Dutch Brook; brothers, Parker (Ada), Louisbourg, Grant (Brenda), New Brunswick and Gary (Natalie), Sydney. Her many great nieces and great nephews held a special spot in her heart along with very dear friends, Heather Lewis and Theresa Bandfield.
Marilyn enjoyed her life with her quick wit and a wonderful sense of humour she filled family and social gatherings with such laughter. She had such a big heart and would always lend a helping hand. Traveling, bowling, and working in retail sales for many years gave her such wonderful memories and timeless friendships. Smiling she would say “Even my memories would make me tired.”
Special thanks to Bernie Arsenault for being there at such a difficult time, we are forever grateful to you.
