MacKay, Dennis Burton, 67 of Heisler, Alberta passed away suddenly on Jan. 21, 2016. Born in Liverpool he was the son of the late Donald B. MacKay and Doris Mae Mckinnon. He was survived by his sons Sean (Melissa) MacKay, Medicine Hat, AB, Sheldon MacKay, Calgary, AB, and daughter Trisha MacKay, Beverlodge AB; his grandchildren who he adored, Austin, Jordan, Courtney, Felicity and Wyatt; his brother Donald I. MacKay, Duncan, BC, sisters Donna Charest (Robert), Bridgewater NS, Dianna Pintal (Jacques), Dartmouth, NS, and Darlene Kempton (Shane) Mill Village. Dennis worked in Alberta at XL Beef Inc. for many years until retirement. He was a joyful man who loved to talk and laugh with family & friends. He would strike up conversations with strangers & make them feel special. Dennis was a believer in Jesus Christ our Lord and his favorite verse: Luke 10:27 "Love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, with all your mind and your neighbor as yourself." Dennis was loving and kind to everyone around him & he will be missed greatly by all his family & friends. The service will be held in Camrose at the Seven Day Adventist Church on January 29, 2016.
