Dorothy Kathleen Wickens(90), loving wife of the late Ethren Walter Wickens and the daughter of the late David Williams and Elizabeth Baker Williams, passed away on December 30, 2015 at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. USA. Dorothy was born in New Brighten, England November 25, 1925. Dorothy was an Allied Veteran coming to Canada as a war bride and retired after many years in the Canadian Civil Service. She is survived by her beloved daughter Dottie and husband Gene Varipapa of Wallingford, Connecticut, USA, her son Warren and his wife Sharon of Barrie, Ontario, her grandsons John Volpe, David Volpe and his wife Debbie, Jim and Michael Wickens; her great granddaughters Kimberly Volpe, Brooke, Paige, Ellie and Lila Volpe, Jessica and Sara Wickens, her sisters Betty McFarland of Darlington, England and Doreen Robinson of South Australia and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving sister Esme’ Hooper and five brothers David, Ken, Eric, John and Glen Williams.

A memorial service will be held at Bear Point Baptist Church at a later date.
