1922 - 2016
Lydia Jaillet, 93, of Baie de Bouctouche, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, on Friday, January 29, 2016.

She was married to the late Edouard Jaillet (1987). Born in Baie de Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late David and the late Béatrice (Maillet) Allain. Lydia was a dedicated member of the Bouctouche Golden Age Club.

She will be sadly missed by her five daughters; Denise Jaillet (Ola Allain) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Lucille Jaillet (Bobby Curwin), Monique Melanson (Rhéal), both of Cocagne, Murielle Boucher (Noel Bourque) of Scoudouc and Gloria Jaillet of Bouctouche, her four sons; Arsène (Nicole Goguen) of Cocagne, Donald (Alberta Cormier), Aldéric (Huguette), both of Baie de Bouctouche and Elmo of Bouctouche, one daughter-in-law, Lorraine, eighteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn two sisters; Yvonne Breau of Baie de Bouctouche and Irène Allain of Dixon Point, a brother, Alcide (Normande) of Bouctouche and several nieces and nephews.

Lydia was predeceased by one son, Gérald (2003), three grandchildren; Marcel, Mélanie and Sandra, three brothers; Albert, Arsène and Adelard, and one sister, Marie-Anne.Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église Bouctouche, on Sunday January 31, 2016 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9pm and on Monday from 9:30 to 10:45am. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, on Monday February 1, 2016 at 11:00am.
