Dorothy Agnes Mahoney, age 63, of Glace Bay, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016 at Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Stellarton, Dorothy was the daughter of the late George and Georgina Morrison.
Dorothy is survived by a son, Gerard Jr. ‘Tony’, Glace Bay; sisters, Elizabeth, Katherine; brothers, George, Beurnel, Brian and Roddie; grandchildren, Mason, Justin and Alicia.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gerald.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay.
Memorial donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
