Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, Shirley E. Gushue of Brigus, aged 81 years. Predeceased by her husband Herman P. Gushue, baby daughter Denise, parents James and Harriet Courtney, brothers Roy, Samuel and James, sisters Blanche, Effie, Mildred, Elsie and Nina, special sister-in-law Laura. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughters Maxine and John Hedderson, Sharon and William Hurley, Michelle and Vincent Morgan, grandchildren Cordell, Sonya, Boyd, Wanda, Melissa, Daniel and Courtney, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, sister Alma Fisher, brother-in-law Ray (Marie) Gushue, sisters-in-law Doris Thurrott, Uldine Lambe and Annette Courtney, also a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation to take place on Wednesday, Feb 3, 2016 from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m., Thursday, Feb 4, 2016 from 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. Funeral to take place from Broughton's Memorial Chapel, Brigus on Friday, Feb 5, 2016 at 2 P.M.
