Passed away peacefully, in the comfort of her own home at the age of 91, surrounded by her loved ones. Pre-deceased by loving husband Fred, siblings Jonah, Janie, Bill, Lydia, nephew Austin, and special friends Vera, Peg, Mona, and Jack. Leaving to mourn her children Anne, Fred (Lynn), and Janet (Craig), grandchildren Eleanor, Jessie, Matthew, Erin, Elyse, Josh, and Sarah, brother-in-law George "Doc" (Val), nieces Geneva (Ross), Jean (Austin), and special friends Ora, Denise, Eleanor, Elmo and many more. Everyone who knew Minnie, will ever remember her welcoming, gentle, and giving nature. She espoused the meaning of kindness by living it every day. Few ever left her happy home without a hot cup of tea. The grandchildren will always have memories of their Nanny Minnie Mouse in all her lovingly hand-knitted items. Many little toes have been warmed by her socks, her loving hands and heart. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors are Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Thursday, February 18 at 11:00 a.m. with a private family interment at Mt.
