At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, February 20, 2016, with her loving family by her side of Irene Catherine Perry (nee Leard) of Borden, aged 74 years. She was the daughter of the late Urville and Amy (Maybe) Leard. Survived by her husband Frank (Buddy) Perry, her children; Frankie, Roy, Ricky (Debbie) Perry and Ann (George) Fleischhacker; grandchildren Crystal, Wilt, Kristen, Logan, Kendrick; great-grandchildren Ava Grace, Emily and Brandon, who all brought much joy to her life. Also remembered by her sisters Kaye Clark and Joan Leard, sisters-in-law Ann Leard, Arlene Perry, Linda (Darrell) Foy, Pauline Perry and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father and mother-in-law Philip and Edna Perry; brothers Willard, Sheldon and Gerald Leard; brothers and sisters-in-law Amiel, George, Arthur and Doreen Perry, Edna Leard, Lloyd Clark and Phyllis Duggan. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. There will be no visitation or funeral service by Mom’s personal request. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
