It is with broken hearts that the family of Nancy Lynn Wagner – McLellan age 53 of Joggins announce her passing on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at home after a five year battle with cancer.
Born November 11, 1962 in Amherst, she was a daughter of Anna (Cooke) Wagner of Amherst and the late Sheldon Wagner.
Nancy worked for Oxford Frozen Foods in Oxford for many years retiring in 2011.
She had a wonderful personality and was loved by all who knew her. Nancy was a loving wife and mother and was anxiously waiting to see her first granddaughter due in June.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Reggie, one son John of Joggins and one daughter Meaghan McLellan (Brad) of Amherst, twin sisters Lana Bouchard of River Hebert and Lorna Wagner Cambridge, ON, one brother Stanley (Bonnie) of Georgetown, ON and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She will also be sadly missed by her best friend Darlene Comeau and Dakota Daly who also held a special place in her heart.
Besides her father, Nancy was predeceased by a sister Janet Lawless and father in law Harold (Peg) McLellan, sister in law Wanda Halfkenney and brother in law Ricky Cormier.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 7 – 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7 -9 p.m. in Campbell`s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-9906)
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Amherst with Rev. Clarence Clarke officiating.
Memorial donations in Nancy`s memory may be made to the Canadian
Cancer Society or the L. A. Animal Shelter.
