Passed away in peace surrounded by her loving family, Louise O'Brien, age 82, February 18th 2016. She was a loving mother, caring grandmother, a strong woman and kind spirit. Predeceased by her husband: Edmund, her parents: James & Susie Bickford, her sisters: Sophie, Minnie (Doug), Hazel and Frances. Left with fond and loving memories Children: Carol (Ron), Robert (Cynthia), Paul (Jill), Trudy (Joe), Wade (Donna) and Terry. Grandchildren: Ashley, Amanda, Robyn, Cory, Stacey, Ryan, Kendra, Shane, Samantha, Glenn, Spencer and Logan. Great Grandchildren: Kyle, Adam, Emily, Alice, Angeline, Chastin and Cole. Sisters: Elaine (Reuben), Sandra and Cynthia. Brothers: James (Marg), Eric (Mary), Chellis (Inez), Stewart (Barb). Brothers-in-law: Hayward Porter, Steve Parsley, and a large circle of family and friends. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic. Special thanks to Dr. Laurie and her Nursing and support staff for the compassion they had shown at the Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island. Thank you also to the EMR's and PCP's who made her rides to and from the hospital as comfortable as possible. Thank you also to her home care worker Shirley Hussey. Cremation has taken place and inurnment with family and friends will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Bell Island Breast Cancer Group or a charity of one's choice.
