1957 - 2016
Miramichi – Linda Grace Lahey, wife of Michael Lahey, of Miramichi Senior Citizens Home and formerly of the South Napan Road, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 28, 2016, at the age of 58.
Born in Chatham, on October 17, 1957, she was the daughter of Iona (Dickson) and the late Mervyn Taylor.
She was a homemaker and a former employee of Taylors’ Product Bar, in the former Town of Chatham. She was Christian by Faith.
She is survived by her mother, Iona Taylor, of Napan; her husband, Michael, of Napan; one daughter, Natasha Russell (Jeff), of Route 117, Napan; one son, Jeremy Lahey (Pam), of Miramichi; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Wendy Weber (Amil), of Beaumont, AB, Cathy St. Amand (Yvon), of Bathurst, Carol Lee Taylor, of Napan; one brother, Danny Taylor (Shelly) of Napan; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Mervyn Taylor.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home 140 King St., Miramichi, on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Miramichi Agricultural Exhibition Building, on March 4, 2016, conducted by Wayne Hutchinson. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi, later in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the N.B. MS Society or the I.W.K. Hospital for children would be appreciated by the family.
