MELANSON, FLOVILLA
1941 - 2016
Flovilla Melanson, 74, of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the UHC Dr Georges L Dumont, Moncton on Wednesday March 2, 2016. She was married to the late Léonide Melanson (2015). Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Anselme and the late Marguerite (Collette) Collette.
She will be sadly missed by her three children; Dianne Melanson-Howe (Ted) of Belleville, ON, Ninette Melanson (Cory Wessell) and Raymond (Yvette) of Moncton, four grandchildren; Isaac, Elise, Léon and Isabelle. She also leaves to mourn one sister Aldoria Arsenault (Raymond) of Cocagne, three brothers; Ola, Irois (Yvonne) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Aldorie of Montreal and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one brother Ulysse (2010).
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent on Sunday March 6, 2016 from 7 to 9 and on Monday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent Church on Monday March 7, 2016 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Flovilla’s memory donations may be made to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Pulmonary Unit).
